Headed into Boston on a beautiful spring day to celebrate Gist’s birthday.
Learned how to make cheese and crochet at the Mill City Skill Share.
Got a new ride.
Built raised beds and attended a Mill City Grows urban gardening workshop at the Franklin Court Community Garden.
Drank.
Planted my balcony garden – the fellas approve. This year I am growing tomatoes, squash, cukes, ground cherries (or cherry berries, as Gist calls them,) strawberries, a bunch of herbs, and lettuce.
Walked in the woods.
Went to an interesting lecture by Dennis Lehane and supported my favorite place at the same time.
The only not-so-fun part of my month: Henrietta’s getting a new wheel and it is taking forever. I am missing her so much!
