Life in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA

Recycled Sari Silk

Yay! Friday!

Katy and I went to the Hub Mills Store and I got two skeins of Mango Moon Recycled Sari Silk. It is gorgeous! I am going to make their drop stitch scarf – one for me, one to give away. Hub Mills had one made and it was just lovely: soft, light and warm. I cast on and did the first set of drops – it goes pretty quickly.

Gist comes home this weekend and I have to work tomorrow so it’ll be busy rather than relaxing – oh well. We’re at the start of a heat wave: it is supposed to hit 100 on Sunday – yikes! I am certainly thankful for the central air now!
