Day Fourteen – WIPs

Finished Cowl
First up, a FO! Yes, I finished the Maine Cowl over the long weekend in Pittsburgh. It isn’t the wristers (more on that later) but it was a WIP just last week.

Here’re the deets:
Pattern – Pashmina Cowl from Last Minute Knitted Gifts
Yarn – Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool
Needle – Size six Addi
Start date – Sunday, October 7th
Finish date – Sunday, November 11th

Now, back to the wristers. For about five minutes, somewhere over New York or eastern PA the wristers were done. Totally finished. Then Gist tried them on and, oops, they were two different lengths. I decided that it wasn’t a big deal, I’d just rip back from the bottom (cast-on edge) and even them off. Yeah, that didn’t work. Instead I ended up frustrated and with a mess on my hands and now I have to re-do the mitt. Fun.
