Art is the Handmaid of Human Good

Life in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA

Day Twenty-One

WIPs, what WIPs? I have not made any progress on either the wristers or capelet because I have been seduced by the gorgeous but high-maintenance skein of Claudia Handpainted Silk Lace that I bought on PA. I have started and frogged lots of potential projects (Juno, Muir, Muse) with this yarn – I am hoping that she’ll let me know what she wants to be sooner rather than later…

Hi my name is Marianne Gries, welcome to Art is the Handmaid of Human Good. I use this space to write about and share pictures of things that interest me. That includes my life in Lowell, my adventures in car-lite living, the food I cook and eat, my dogs, home improvement projects, vacations, knitting, and interesting things and places I see and visit. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. The Claudia Handpaints are gorgeous – I have a Shoalwater Shawl in progress right now – perfect for that yarn.
