No veggies on the counter picture this week, Gist picked up the share and put everything away. Our box was chock full of yummy noms including amaranth, beets, blueberries, blue caribe potatoes, the most insanely beautiful collard greens I’ve ever seen, cucumbers, garlic chives, green onions, peaches, summer squash, and sweet corn. In addition, Bill gave me some cauliflower, the cutest little peppers I’ve ever seen and two mini heads of cabbage. Oh, AND Katy brought some of her mom’s pickles and relish to knitting for me – not bad for a Tuesday.
It was another rainy day at the farm – I’m really hoping that one of these days it is sunny. Of course the rain didn’t stop me from taking pictures…
The gorgeous collards. Nikki grew them and all of the other farmers were checking them out and asking about them.
