Ariel

Ariel, a 1974 (just like me!) Raleigh Sprite, is the newest addition to my stable.

Day 152 - Thursday, May 31st 2012

I was feeling a bit lonely because poor Henrietta had been in the shop for so long and Ariel was right in Chelmsford waiting for me. She’s got ten speeds and a derailleur, and she’s a bit sportier than Henrietta while still being stable and easy to ride in a skirt.

Day 156 - Rainy days and Monday, June 4th 2012

I’m very happy to have her in my life 😉

Day 158 - Wednesday, June 6th 2012

Of course, right after Ariel came home (and after three whole weeks without a bike *gasp*) Henrietta came home complete with a new, bombproof wheel and bottom bracket.

Day 155 - Sunday, June 3rd 2012

After picking her up in Cambridge, I rode her to the end on the Minuteman Trail in Bedford.

Day 157 - Tuesday, June 5th 2012

She rides like a dream and I’m thrilled to have her back!
