My first day of 30 Days of Biking started with a drive. Today just happened to be one of those (incredibly rare) days where I needed a car to do what had to get done. My 30 Days of Biking workaround? Drive to do the things that required a car and bike to do the rest. Not ideal but it worked.

Of course, April wouldn’t be April without a couple of surprise April Showers.


On my way home to let the dogs out and pick up the car, I got caught in a bit of a squall. The sky looked worse than it was, my major difficulty was the intense headwind.

One day down, 29 to go…
